About Us
The Corsair Model Aircraft Club (CMAC) is a friendly, family oriented flying club for builders & fyiers of remote control (R/C) model aircraft. CMAC is sanctioned by the Academy of Model Aeronautics and is one of the largest & oldest clubs in the nation! We have an excellent safety record-we've never had a claim against our insurance for an injury to members or spectators in our 50 year history. CMAC sponsors a formal, free training program for new pilots. We also provide several presentations to scouting organizations & church youth groups every year. Our club field is utilized by the University of Akron College of Engineering Aero Design Team to test their award winning designs.
